Eminem Royce da 5'9"
Bad Meets Evil is a 2-piece rap collaboration consisting of Detroit emcees Royce Da 5'9" ("bad") and Eminem ("evil.") Bad Meets Evil preleased a small number of tracks such as "Scary Movies", "Nuttin' to Do" and "Bad Meets Evil". The track starts out with an old man telling a story of Bad and Evil ruling the town, and how the sherrifs couldn't stop them. It proceeds to go into song, and afterwards the elderly cowboy is back, saying that "On the quiet nights, you can still hear the footsteps of Slim Shady and Royce Da 5'9".
Bad Meets Evil recorded the following tracks:
Nuttin' To Do
Scary Movies
Bad Meets Evil
Rock City
Renegade
She's The One
What The Beat (featuring Method Man and DJ Clue)
The track "Scary Movies" appeared on the end credits of Scary Movie
They have also recorded numerous freestyles together, including a 12-minute long battle. Footage of a Bad Meets Evil concert filmed in 1998 in a club in Detroit has also been leaked onto the internet.
The group was short-lived however, with an altercation occurring between Royce Da 5'9", and Eminem's clique, D12, prompting Eminem and Royce to cut off any connections.
The group has since not worked together. Royce Da 5'9" has since released some tracks dissing D12 but not Eminem. D12 (minus Eminem) have released tracks dissing Royce Da 5'9" and his M.I.C. Records Camp.
Royce & D12 have squashed their "beef", and Royce is appearing on the upcoming D12 mixtape Return of the Dozen.
Royce has recently expressed in interviews that Eminem and himself have ended their feud and have been talking over the phone. Royce has also stated that Bad Meets Evil will be reunited soon.
Bad Meets Evil can be found on records such as Game Tight, the very best of game recordings (including Nuttin' To Do & Scary Movies) and on iTunes.
